This is the cover art I did for 'The Mad Wolf's Daughter' by Diane Magras and published by Penguin Random House. A great project to be part of. I love Magras novel, Her characters are vivid and strong as well as is the medieval settings and perilous adventures they are drawn into. This not light medieval fantasy, it is intense and gritty.
The idea to work with a collage of faces from the main characters came from the AD Maggie Edkins and I embraced it. I'm more used to work a scene rather than a collection of characters faces but I am liking it more and more.
